SURFACING Services
Our lumber is sold rough sawn, which means it comes from the mill with a textured surface and uneven thickness. To be ready for your next project, it needs to be milled flat, straight, and square.
If you want to skip the labour of doing it yourself, or don't have the tools, our 12" jointer and 20" planer can handle all your milling needs! We offer 4 levels of surfacing from J1S to S4S.
J1S (one face flattened) + $1 / bdft
S2S (both faces surfaced) + $2 / bdft
S3S (both faces + one edge) + $2.50 / bdft
S4S (both faces + both edges) + $3 / bdft
